In order to stabilize the economic activities of business entities, ensure the further development of the business environment, attract and improve the investment climate, as well as eliminate unreasonable and unnecessary interference of state bodies in the activities of business entities, the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated January 9, 2024 UP No. 1 introduced a moratorium on inspections of business entities until December 31, 2024, conducted by law enforcement and other authorized entities bodies that have the right to conduct inspections of business entities, with the exception of inspections carried out at the request of officials of state bodies in case of detection of specific facts of violation by a business entity of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic with the attachment of documents, materials and other supporting information.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic was instructed to strengthen supervision over the legality and validity of inspections conducted by law enforcement, tax and other authorized bodies that have the right to conduct inspections of business entities.
