In pursuance of the provisions of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On External Migration”, which regulates the issues of assigning the status of “Digital Nomad” to foreign citizens, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated April 30, 2025 No 241 approved the Regulation determining the procedure for assigning the status of “Digital Nomad” to citizens of foreign countries.
The main purpose of the Regulation is to create favorable conditions for the development of innovative projects and high-tech sectors of the economy in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to attract foreign specialists and investments in the field of information and communication technologies, software development and other related areas.
The Regulation applies to specialists (citizens of foreign countries listed in the Regulation) operating in the field of information and communication technologies, software development and other related areas applying for the status of “Digital Nomad”.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic was instructed to ensure the assignment of the status of “Digital Nomad” to foreign citizens.
